While both penis length and girth contribute to the overall size, studies suggest that girth may be more important for sexual stimulation and pleasure. Penile Girth Enhancement Treatment is a procedure that focuses on increasing the circumference or “thickness” of the penis. The procedure involves fat transfer, dermal fillers, or other approved materials to achieve the desired increase in girth. Girth enhancement procedures are generally less complex and have less downtime than lengthening procedures.
UroFill® is a non-surgical penile girth enhancement technique that uses a proprietary, patented procedure with a dermal filler. It’s a minimally invasive approach that aims to increase penile girth using dermal filler injections. UroFill® is based on similar tissue enhancement techniques used on the lips, face, or other areas of the body. Fillers contain hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in the body. When injected under the skin, dermal fillers are used to add volume and plumpness to the desired area. UroFill® works in this same way. On average, most patients will experience an increase of approximately 0.25” to 0.5” with each injection of filler.
The UroFill® procedure is performed in-office and requires about 30 minutes. The procedure itself is associated with minimal discomfort. Local numbing medication is used to freeze the area to avoid any discomfort. There is minimal downtime after the procedure, and you should be able to resume most daily activities right away. However, we recommend avoiding sexual activity for 72 hours to allow for proper healing.
Adult and Cosmetic Circumcision
Circumcision is a procedure where the foreskin of the penis is surgically removed. While it is often associated with religious or cultural rites, or performed on newborns shortly after birth, many adults choose to opt for this surgery for aesthetic or personal reasons. Adult circumcision also addresses concerns for men who previously underwent a circumcision and are unhappy with their current cosmetic appearance. Common reasons for this include residual skin, asymmetry, skin tension, or scarring.
The procedure can range from 60-90 minutes. We offer a combination of local numbing medication and sedation for all circumcisions, and the procedure itself is virtually painless. However, you may experience some discomfort for a few days following your adult circumcision and will be prescribed pain medication to be used as needed. The dressing can be removed after 24 hours, and Polysporin ointment should be applied to the incision twice a day for about a week.
We recommend waiting at least 2-3 days to return to work if you have an office job, and 5-7 days if you perform any heavy lifting. Avoid all sexual activity for 4 weeks after your procedure.
Frenulectomy
Frenulectomy is a surgical procedure aimed at addressing a tight or restrictive frenulum, which is the small band of tissue connecting the underside of the penis head to the shaft. The procedure is typically done to relieve pain and discomfort associated with a tight frenulum, improve the range of motion and retraction of the foreskin (if present), and to enhance sexual pleasure by reducing the risk of tearing or bleeding during sexual activity.
A typical frenulectomy is performed under local anesthesia and takes less than 30 minutes. Recovery is generally quick and relatively painless. Most men can return to work within a few days and resume sexual activity within a few weeks.
